Job Description

Role: Data Engineer

Experience: 5-7 years

Key Skills: Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, Hive, HDFS, and streaming platforms like Kafka/Kinesis

Further Requirements:
•
Proven experience in cloud-based data models, ETL pipelines, and data infrastructure for reporting and analytics
•
Expertise in Spark, Hive, HDFS, and streaming platforms like Kafka/Kinesis
•
Proficient in version control (Git, Subversion) and CI/CD tools
• Skilled in programming languages (Java, Python, Scala)
•
Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Strong SQL proficiency and database optimization skills
•
Ability to build scalable data models and manage modern databases (Relational, NoSQL, Graph, Document)
•
Knowledge of machine learning model deployment and AWS platforms
•
Familiarity with TDD/BDD practices
•
Continuous improvement mindset in software development and technology

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
•
Support client projects in data modelling, data services, and data science
•
Build web services for search and personalization
•
Design and implement high-performance, scalable data solutions
• Write and optimize SQL queries for application performance
•
Ensure database security, performance, and availability
•
Manage database procedures (upgrades, backups, migrations)
•
Build automated data pipelines for reporting and data science needs
•
Integrate data from various sources, including APIs and on-premise databases
•
Collaborate with internal teams on data access, transformation, and reporting
• Manage AWS resources (EMR, ECS), improving deployment processes
•
Lead cloud technology integration and optimize costs
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
•
Implement data governance and security measures

10 am till 7 pm IST
