Reconciling multiple invoices to a single payment created was a challenge for the client organization. Each payment has its own unique number, and manually matching them against bank statements was even more complex, effort, and time-consuming.
This application was developed to successfully build a Day end process for the reconciliation of payments processed from the CE/CRM system into the Business Central system leveraging payment reference linked to each payment received from CE/CRM.
This Day end process consolidated the payment records based on payment references and posted the single entries into the Bank account ledger.
On import of bank statements into the Business Central system, it was able to reconsolidate with a single entry in the system, and manual intervention is no longer required.
The application saved time and effort, ensuring that exchanged information remained secure and that reconciliation with bank statements was automated.
