Client:

The client is a leading financial service provider organization and processes bulk invoices for received donations, especially by not-for-profit organizations.

Requirement:

Once the client organization generated the invoice through Dynamics 365 CE/CRM system, the payments from their customers (not-for-profit organizations) were pushed into the client’s Business Central System.

Reconciling multiple invoices to a single payment created was a challenge for the client organization. Each payment has its own unique number, and manually matching them against bank statements was even more complex, effort, and time-consuming.

Solution Delivered:

TechWize investigated the client’s financial and operational challenges to create detailed technical requirements for developing a custom application.

This application was developed to successfully build a Day end process for the reconciliation of payments processed from the CE/CRM system into the Business Central system leveraging payment reference linked to each payment received from CE/CRM.

This Day end process consolidated the payment records based on payment references and posted the single entries into the Bank account ledger.

On import of bank statements into the Business Central system, it was able to reconsolidate with a single entry in the system, and manual intervention is no longer required.

The application saved time and effort, ensuring that exchanged information remained secure and that reconciliation with bank statements was automated.

Result:

The app improved collaboration between Business Central and CE/CRM system and led to an enhanced Day end process within the organization.

The client got a commanding financial tech solution and a precise process customized to their business and operational requirements. The streamlined operations increased productivity and performance while reducing manual costs associated with the old method.
