Solution

During the Salesforce and Pardot integration process, we set up the Salesforce/Pardot connector, mapped our client’s Salesforce custom fields to Pardot, and adjusted their lead and contact page layouts. Mapping fields to Pardot makes transferring leads that come through Pardot to Salesforce very easy, since it creates the same fields in Pardot that you have in Salesforce so that they can store the same information. Now with the Salesforce and Pardot integration set up, when new information comes to our client through Pardot, it is automatically synced to our client’s Salesforce, eliminating the need for them to manually sync the data.
