The Client is in the business of selling medical equipment and accessories.

Requirement:

Client was not meeting face to face with their customers due to pandemic. Requirement was to automatically send a Microsoft meeting request with details when an agent creates any task with the customer.

Client needed a customer profiling to be created on the Mail chimp, where they want to manage their contacts and their activities.

They also wanted the any new Contacts created in mail chimp; respective contact must be added in Salesforce with appropriate details.

Solution Delivered:

To achieve this functionality, we need one trigger, Apex class as well Microsoft team account. After creation of task, it will call API with Start time, End time, attendees, subject line, description to Microsoft Teams and it will create a meeting and send the request to respective persons.

In addition, it will return meeting details to salesforce for future validation.

Earlier client was doing manual meeting invites. Now it is automated the Client manual 80 to 90 % of workload is reduced.

However, designed for pandemic situation but due to its benefits client is using the same even after post pandemic period.

The solution automated meeting creation using a trigger, Apex class, and Microsoft Teams. It reduced manual effort by 80-90%, increased productivity, improved accuracy, and continued to deliver benefits post-pandemic.
