Responsibilities

Day in the Life:

• Expertise in D365 Finance modules, including but not limited to: General Ledger (GL), AR, AP, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Project Accounting.
• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to gather business requirements and understand client processes.
• Document functional specifications and business process flows clearly along with suggestions on best practices and solution alternatives.
• Thorough understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies to be able to manage project tasks, track progress and collaborate with other team members using Azure DevOps.
• Health checks and current state reviews of implementations
• Communicate effectively with clients, obtaining sign-off at each implementation stage, including requirements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live.
• Co-ordinate with Practice Managers and Leads for resource planning, forecasting, and task assignment, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Demonstrate expertise in configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365Finance, both on-premises and on the cloud.
• Understand and facilitate integration between D365 Finance and other applications including Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Marketing.
• Collaborate closely with the technical team, project managers, and stakeholders to prioritise and align project tasks, ensuring effective and optimal delivery of solution.
• Stay updated on Dynamics 365 Finance releases and partner ISV solutions, sharing knowledge with the team and clients.
• Support pre-sales activities by demonstrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities to potential clients.
• Develop test plans and scenarios, execute functional testing, and provide UAT support and training to clients, ensuring smooth transitions and successful system adoption.
• Provide post-implementation support by identifying and resolving issues, including managing support tickets and ongoing enhancements.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Minimum 5 years of ERP implementation experience with at least 2 years specifically in Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance or related areas are preferred.
• A relevant degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
