Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) – Open Source & AI Solutions to drive revenue growth through acquisition of Open Source and AI-based IT projects. The candidate should have strong experience in IT services sales, target-based revenue generation, and the ability to position technology solutions across web, mobile, automation, and AI domains.

Technology Exposure (Must Understand & Sell)

Web & Backend Technologies:
Core PHP, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, OpenCart, WordPress, Laravel, Symfony, Node.js, JavaScript, Express.js, jQuery, Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Wix

Mobile Technologies:
Android (Native), iOS (Native), Flutter, React Native

Other Capabilities:
Python-based solutions, data scraping, automation tools, and AI-driven applications

Additional Note:
The team can quickly adapt (within 5–10 days of learning) to platforms such as Drupal, Shopify, or other open source technologies as per project requirements.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Services Business Development / Software Sales
  • Proven track record in achieving target revenue through Open Source and AI projects
  • Strong understanding of custom software development lifecycle
  • Experience selling web, mobile, SaaS, automation, and AI-based solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client handling skills
  • Experience in lead generation through platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, referrals, cold outreach, and partnerships
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to international markets (US, UK, Europe, Middle East)
  • Experience in AI/ML, automation, and digital transformation sales
  • Strong network in IT outsourcing or product development ecosystem

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue targets achieved (monthly/quarterly)
  • Number of new projects closed
  • Sales pipeline growth
  • Client retention and repeat business

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities for Open Source and AI-based IT projects
  • Own complete sales cycle: prospecting, requirement gathering, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closure
  • Achieve assigned target revenue through custom software development and AI solution projects
  • Promote company’s capabilities across Web, Mobile, Automation, and AI services
  • Build strong relationships with domestic and international clients
  • Coordinate with technical teams for project scope, estimation, and solution design
  • Explore new markets and strategic partnerships
  • Maintain CRM and sales pipeline reports
  • Track market trends in Open Source and AI technology adoption
